A Bright & Colorful Summer Session in Historic Downtown Charleston
Mills House & Chalmers Street Charleston Engagement Session | Sammy & Jeremy

The Mills House…Chalmers Street…Broad Street…It truly does not get more iconic than this for a downtown Charleston engagement session! There is so much we could say about these two and their session but you will see through the images that a combination of Sammy & Jeremy’s joy and enthusiasm for life, along with a sunny evening on the streets of downtown Charleston made for images we are beyond excited about.

Sammy & Jeremy do not live locally, however they share our love for Lowcountry and are getting married by the beach here in Charleston next summer. Engagement photos in this charming city were a must! They have dreams of living along the coast as soon as possible, and honestly, we might join them πŸ˜‰ They traveled all the way from Pennsylvania for their engagement session & it truly was a blast!

Sammy shared in her initial email to us that along with our shared admiration of Charleston, we had a few other things in common including our love for country music & our golden retrievers. All that to say, we knew we were going to love these two and get along well! After meeting them and getting to spend the evening together, that was confirmed! Their wedding day is one we are really looking forward to!!

Not only were they up for walking to all of our favorite Charleston spots, but they went along with every single idea and vision we had… including walking across streets and up flights of stairs, or causally sitting out front of the Mills house. However, these two get a lot of credit for all the candid and unique photos that were captured during their session because they naturally interacted and posed in ways where we had to say “wait, do that again!”. Jeremy didn’t stop admiring Sammy throughout the session, always glancing her way every few seconds. They were both so full of joy and laughter that it wasn’t possible to take a photo were they didn’t both look SO happy.

Sammy & Jeremy, thank you for trusting us with these photos…It was an honor! Now, let’s get y’all married!!
