Rainbow Row & The Battery Engagement Session

We love everything about Charleston and the lowcountry…but you know what else we love?? Clients who feel like friends and who trust you to bring their vision to life!! Melissa and Robert are those people! They’re trusting, full of smiles, and not to mention photogenic!

When we were first talking to Melissa on the phone, she told us that she found us on Instagram and sent our profile to her fiancé and bff saying that she had to have us as their photographers. And we could not be more excited that we get to capture their day next year at Legare Waring House!! Melissa and Robert are big fans of Charleston like we are and visit from Atlanta whenever they get the chance! Maybe we’ll all move here one day and take photos on the beach every weekend?? Just a thought 😉

We started their session in downtown and hit some iconic spots and found some hidden gems too. We love to start our sessions in a calmer part of downtown so we’re all warmed up before adventuring to the battery or rainbow row! Melissa loves all the colored buildings (SAME) so we made that happen!! I think it may be a trend, but we’re LOVING some vibrant colors lately!! Life is boring without them!

After surviving the heat and bustling crowds of downtown we drove to Sullivans Island which is a small trek to Mount Pleasant but ALWAYS worth it. Especially when your clients aren’t afraid to run in the ocean and and have some fun!! These two killed it!!
