Maura and Nick had a PARTY, y’all! And if you scroll down, you’ll see how we knew this would be the case from the very beginning! 😉 They were celebrated by lot’s of friends and family and danced the night away!! Even though they didn’t have an official bridal party, both Maura and Nick were surrounded by supportive friends the whole day.
Maura got ready with her friends, and although we all had to squeeze into that room, they were all so welcoming and patient! Once Maura was ready, her mom had a surprise waiting for her. A vintage blue car came to pick her up!! And it was too cute! Although this remained a secret, it worked out perfectly because Maura knew she needed her “something blue” for her wedding day!
We loved seeing how so many old friends, as well as some of the couple’s closest friends, were a part of their day. Amber, one of Maura’s best friends, planned their entire day and all the details were perfect!! We’ve been following along with Amber on instagram for a while and she’s just the best!! Nick’s best friend, Justin, officiated their ceremony which was so fun to witness. They had multiple other vendors who they knew from many years back and seeing everyone come together to serve them and celebrate them was amazing.
Sometimes long trains with lace on them can be quite difficult…but not Maura’s!! It had a layer of fabric on the bottom which not only helped it to not catch on the concrete, but also was SO easy to fluff! We were big fans! We tried something new with Maura’s train so be on the lookout for that photo!
During the first dances, both Maura and Nick shared dances with their moms which was so sweet. Amber, Maura’s best friend and wedding planner shared a toast as well as Nick’s brother, Nate. Both speeches were thoughtful and humorous and had all the guests laughing!
Then, they partied!! It was such a fun day and we had a blast being a part of it!
