Historic Hopkins Farm Wedding | Kelley & Forrest

We met Forrest and Kelley in August when we photographed Camden and Katie’s wedding. Forrest and Camden are brothers and we have loved getting to celebrate and document these two special days!! Their family is truly SO sweet and have made us feel so welcome whenever we are with them! We loved getting to know Forrest and Kelley at their engagement session and knew that their spring wedding at Historic Hopkins Farm was going to be beautiful! If you don’t remember how these two met, go read their engagement session blog post! Hint: Kelley’s dad may have been involved!

Because their wedding was at an outdoor-only venue, we had been praying that the weather would cooperate! And it did! There was not a cloud in the sky the whole day! It was not only full of sunshine, but it finally warmed up after a chilly few days! It was absolutely freezing at Kelley’s bridal session so we were very relieved for a warm spring day! We’d love to shoot a wedding at Historic Hopkins again because of the simplicity of the venue and all the open space we had for portraits. We love open fields and the portraits that result because of it!

These two adore their nieces and nephews and wanted them to be involved in their day, so having space for the kids to run around during the reception was awesome! There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out, whether it was by the fire pit, on the dance floor, or under the covered reception space!

Forrest and Kelley shared a first look and read notes to each other during it, which is one of our favorite things for our couples to do. They also gave each other gifts, which were both meaningful. Kelley gave Forrest cuff links with her own handwriting on them, and Forrest gifted Kelley a map with the locations of all their big moments together.

Kelley also incorporated lace from her mom’s wedding on her own veil which added a personalized and special touch! We love that this special keepsake made it in every single photo!!

We can’t believe their day has already come and gone because we’ve been looking forward to it for so many months!! It was a joy to be there with Kelley and Forrest we hope y’all love all these photos as much as we do!
