Our photographer hearts are always happy when there are smiling guests, a full color palette, great views and a sweet couple!! Olivia and Corey’s wedding day had all those things! These two had a Thursday wedding and we’re here to say, weekday weddings are always welcome!! We love a mid-week celebration when it’s possible! It was a hot August day (those three words pretty much go hand-in-hand these days) but Olivia and Corey and their families were troopers! We all survived an outdoor ceremony (which turned out beautifully! We always vote outdoors despite the weather!) and captured some amazing moments. 

They opted out of an official wedding party, but we made time for photos with friends and we were big fans of the focus that shifted from formal wedding party photos to couples photos and candid friend photos! 

Our current obsession with bright florals, fun patterns, and unique dresses is in full force so we were inspired by many elements of their wedding day, as you’ll see in these photos! One thing about us…if you have a cute dress and purse, you will definitely be photographed, and may even be a model for detail photo! 😉 We love documenting all the wedding day fashion! And speaking of fashion, Olivia works as an interior designer, and her modern, trendy style shown through. I mean, look at her stunning satin dress with tulle sleeves!! And that party pony…we need someone to teach us how to make our hair look that good to last for 10 hour wedding days!!

Our suspicions about Olivia and Corey were confirmed during 30 minutes of toasts given to the couple. They are so kind-hearted, driven, compassionate, and so loved by many people! One after another, their friends and family stepped up to the mic to share their stories and it was so special to hear. We loved being a part of this celebration for Mr. & Mrs. Smith and are wishing y’all the best!!
