Sydney & Carter’s wedding at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island was STUNNING. It was a long-awaited day (many years for Sydney and Carter and many months of excitement for us!) and it was beautiful in every way!
The Ocean Course is beach front so there are amazing views out all the windows and you’re steps from so many beautiful backdrops! The clubhouse itself is beautiful, and with the dunes close by, it truly is a one-of-a-kind venue!!
When the ladies at Anderson Event Design are on the job, you know there will be an elegant reception design, personal details, and a purely cohesive color scheme (even in the smallest details!). From the flowers, the linens, the neutral dance floor, and even the mother of the bride dress, the color scheme was executed perfectly! We’re also suckers for a sailcloth tent, and it was the perfect location for Sydney and Carter to dance the night away! Right next to the ocean!
We’ve been the biggest fans of Festoon’s florals for as long as we can remember…so when we heard that they would be doing the floral design for Sydney & Carter’s wedding day we were so excited to see all their beautiful designs!! And they did a phenomenal job! The ceremony arch covered in pastel hydrangeas was a show stopper and the bouquets were dreamy! Give us light-weight, whimsical flowers every day!
A highlight of Sydney and Carter’s wedding at the Ocean course was the time we had for their first look. It was a wonderful moment of calm during an otherwise busy day and they also chose to read each other letters which was so sweet. Sydney also gifted Carter her dad’s watch and this special heirloom made an appearance throughout the day. You’ll also see some excited expressions below from their immediate family members when they had their own impromptu first look with the bride and groom! It was SO sweet!!
