In their letters to each other, Bonnie and Mitch both expressed how hard it was to sum up the love they have for each other and their relationship over the last 15 years. And honestly, we’re feeling the same way as we try to describe their day and everything that took place during their wedding at Legare Waring House!
We got to meet up with Bonnie and Mitch briefly before their rehearsal dinner to grab some photos and it may just be our new favorite thing! Not only was it extra special to see them the day before their wedding, but it also gave us such peace walking into their day with details discussed and that extra bond between all of us!
Bonnie and Mitch both got ready at Legare Waring House and if you’ve been a part of a wedding day before, you know this is super convenient!! We were able to capture incredible getting ready photos of both of them! Oh, and Bonnie picked the “blue room,” JUST for us because she knows how much we love the color and she said it was the brightest room for photos! Dream bride! She knows us well!
They shared a first look and it immediately took the top of our list for the BEST first looks ever!! Mitch’s reaction was priceless, and the smiles that they had on their faces in that moment didn’t leave the whole day! We took portraits afterwards, and their energetic and adventurous spirits made our jobs easy. Bonnie and Mitch wanted to make the vision happen for photos just as much as we did!
Their ceremony took place under the oaks, and was full of laughter as Bonnie’s humor kept everyone entertained, and tears as Bonnie walked down the aisle and she and Mitch said their vows. Pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the wedding party, groomsmen included!!
Also, we’ve been not-so-secretly fan-girling for a while now over the stunning florals that Roadside Blooms creates and probably could have photographed their floral designs all day long! The ceremony arbor had just the right pop to compliment the Spanish moss and Oak trees, and the bouquets incorporated all the fluffy flowers of our dreams!
When we asked Bonnie and Mitch if they wanted to do sunset photos, it was an immediate YES and we headed to a new-to-us location at Legare with a view of the marsh for some glowy portraits and epic drone videos that Alan captured!
They ended the night with dinner under the stars, danced to our favorite first dance song ever, cut the cake with all their guests looking on behind them, and partied the night away!! Congratulations you two!!
