Laura and I have been dying to do an engagement session at Lake Robinson for a while now and it finally happened! Lakes and fall are the perfect combination and made this session so unique! Not only was the scenery amazing but the weather was amazing!  Next up on the bucket list is to do one ON the lake on a boat!

We love incorporating places that are meaningful to our couples in their engagement session. Erin & Joel’s first date was in downtown Greer at Barista Alley so we decided that starting their session there would be perfect!! We went to some favorite spots downtown and then headed to Lake Robinson, which was just a short drive away to finish out their engagement session! We had never been here before (only seen photos of how pretty it was!) but we when got there we were totally shocked at how pretty it was! With the trees turning and the mountains off in the distance, it was just gorgeous! You would never know that during our time at the lake we had lots of distractions…the SC Emergency Response Team was practicing on the lake, but then had a real-life situation when a sailboat flipped over! It was quite eventful but everyone was ok!⁣ And looking at the photos you thought it was just a calm evening on the lake right?😉

And another funny story to finish this out… we actually met Erin for the first time the day before their session! We were second shooting a wedding and she was playing the harp for that same wedding! It might have taken me a bit to realize it was her, but once I did we loved getting to unexpectedly meet her!  Erin plays the harp for many events and weddings so understandably she could not be more excited that it is finally going to be HER wedding!! ⁣

These two are getting married here in Greenville in January before the move to Boston in February and we can’t wait to capture their day for them!!
