Lauren & Josh’s anniversary session in Downtown Charleston was full of laughs, gorgeous morning light, & all the iconic locations! These two knew they wanted anniversary photos that captured Saint Micheal’s Church & the palm tree lined streets. Along with that, we had to take them to our two other favorite Charleston spots, Chalmers Street & Hibernian Hall. It was a blast getting to meet these two & document this special occasion for them!
Fun fact: This trip to Charleston we photographed 4 other sessions & 1 wedding…& none of our clients were from Charleston! Lauren & Josh however are from our home city, & made the drive down from Greenville to take anniversary photos. We’d say it was worth it!! You just can’t beat the Charleston charm.
We shot Lauren & Josh’s session in the morning, & let’s just say that early in the day is our absolute favorite time to shoot in downtown! There were very minimal people out & about which made all the shots with the church in the background much more feasible & it meant we weren’t fighting the crowds at all the scenic locations. If you’re up for making a morning session happen, that’s always our top pick!
