The Biltmore Estate has always been a special place to Emily and Josiah. For Emily, evening walks around the property is a frequent activity for her family and now for her and Josiah. Her senior photos were taken here as well! Emily and Josiah even stopped for some ice cream on their first date at the Biltmore’s ice cream shop and now here they are! Doing their engagement session at the Biltmore just seemed so fitting! And yes, we had to do a quick ice cream reenactment just for memory sake 😉
Emily and Josiah first started dating in July of 2020 and this summer they got engaged! Emily had contacted us within a few days of their engagement to hear more about our photography experience. She’s on top of things which is something we admire!! Seeing her and Josiah interact throughout the whole session was super special, because they are both incredibly kind and relaxed and yet it is obvious just how excited they are for this new stage of life!
We spent a couple hours walking and drive around the Biltmore Estate and really enjoyed talking to these two. Josiah is a twin as well, so we laughed about all the “twin things,” that drive everyone else crazy! And of course agreed that being a twin is awesome too 🙂
We will be photographing their wedding in May with an awesome team of vendors at Heyward Manor and we can hardly wait!! They have had this venue in mind for a while and knew they wanted to get married there, and we love it too! See y’all in the spring!!
