Kelsey and Trenton are a dynamic couple with vibrant personalities and the kindest hearts. Though Charleston has only been their home for a few years, it was the perfect place to gather their loved ones from across the country. Their Hampton Park and Cedar Room wedding was full of color, joy, and heartfelt moments, reflecting their deep love for each other and the special connections they share with their closest family and friends. From their thoughtful, personalized ceremony at Hampton Park, with Kelsey’s sister officiating, to the lively celebration at the Cedar Room, every detail of their day felt like a true reflection of who they are as a couple.
With Kelsey’s father working for Kodak throughout her whole life, Kelsey values the timelessness of film images as much as we do, so it was an honor to photograph their day on film and digital formats. We also worked closely alongside Alan (Laura’s husband!) with Bruce Films as he documented their day cinematically. The result of multiple media documentation was something we desire for all our clients and we’re thrilled to share this Cedar Room wedding with you below!

Kelsey and her bridesmaids got ready at the charming Cottages on the Charleston Harbor, a calm setting that set the perfect tone for the day ahead. The serene surroundings—boats passing by, birds soaring overhead, and the distant silhouettes of church steeples downtown—created a peaceful backdrop. It truly felt like the start of a wedding day as Kelsey’s sister and Maid of Honor rehearsed their speeches by the water (their hard work paid off, because they both presented their sweet words flawlessly!).
Kelsey’s deep appreciation for her closest loved ones shone through every moment of the day. She made sure they felt cherished and valued, and it was clear how much they meant to her. Her brother and sister stood by her side as her people of honor, and this candid moment captured the pure joy between the three siblings and sister-in-law.
There may have been a time crunch, but vows were written. And we can confirm that these two work well under pressure because wow, they wrote the sweetest things!
When the crowd cheers as the groom walks down the aisle, you know you’re in for a good evening with some energetic people!
Upon arrival at the Cedar Room, guests were warmly welcomed with passed hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails from the bar. With such a stunning evening on the harbor, everyone took advantage of the beautiful weather, enjoying the outdoor space before being invited into the beautifully designed reception. Inside, Kelsey and Trenton’s guests found a personalized letter waiting for them, not only indicating their assigned seat but also sharing a heartfelt message from the couple, adding a personal touch to the celebration
