Savannah and Porter’s Greenville wedding at Gassaway Mansion took place on Saturday and we’re so excited to share it with you today!
We met Savannah and Porter through Savannah’s grandparents, who we attended church with for many years. When Savannah and Porter decided to get married in Greenville where Savannah grew up, we connected with them and we’re so glad we did!!
Savannah and Porter are an adorable couple and their quiet natures fit so well together. They are both so kind and considerate of everyone around them! We’re so thankful we got to be a part of this stage of life with them!
Their wedding day *may* have been one of the coldest days in 2022 so far…it also didn’t help that we had experienced such warm temperatures the previous two weeks in the upstate! March can be unpredictable when it comes to weather, and Saturday happened to be on of those spring days that definitely feels more like winter!
The good news is, we all survived 😉 We did photos outside in record speed and were very thankful for a bright indoor space to do first looks, some portraits, and family photos.
Savannah bought a shawl for herself a few days before when the weather changed and the whole day everyone commented about how it looked like it came with her dress! This was the first thing both Porter and her dad asked during the first looks she shared with each of them and we would agree that it suited her so well!
They danced right at sunset when the sun was still glowing through the tent…that is our favorite time for first dances!! We love when there’s still a hint of sunshine left because it makes it so magical.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Kennedy!! We loved celebrating with y’all!
