Mallory and Brent’s Pawley’s Island wedding was an epic way to end our year of weddings. 23 weddings later and we’re done!! 2021 did not disappoint and this wedding was the grande finale. 

We first met Mallory when she gradated from nursing school last year. We photographed Mallory and her best friend, Lanie, with their adorable pups and had SO much fun. Fast forward to January 2021 and we got to meet Brent when Mallory scheduled a portrait session for the two of them in Charleston with us! Their session at Hampton Park was a dream! And now they are Mr. and Mrs. Caldwell as of 3 days ago!! 

Their Pawley’s Island wedding was absolutely stunning! We started the day at a friend’s beach house where Mallory got ready. We were so happy for a beautiful morning on the beach. The weather COULD NOT have been better! A seventy-five degree day in December on the South Carolina coast is perfection. After photographing Mallory’s details at the beach house, we headed over to their ceremony venue on Pawley’s Island.

Mallory had sent us some inspiration for their floral arrangements, and we were amazed by how Willow Events brought the vision to life!! The flowers were the eye-catching statement of the day (especially the floral arch on the front door!) and were an amazing pop of color!

During their ceremony, Mallory and Brent read each other personal letters and it was a very emotional moment. These two started dating in 9th grade and it’s obvious just how much they love each other! 

After portraits, we headed to Local for their reception. This quaint location is the perfect reception space for an intimate wedding! From the florals framing the fire place, to the classic pink and mauve place settings and floral arrangements, everything about this space was stunning!! We probably photographed every angle because it was just that good! 

Mallory and Brent, we are so honored to have had the opportunity to document your special day! We loved getting to know y’all and can’t wait for the next time we have y’all in front of our cameras!
