Kelsey and Justin’s Bleckley Station wedding was the ideal winter wedding. We’re talking sixty degrees and sunny!! At this point of the year when spring is quickly approaching, days like these are wonderful! We were able to be outside for a majority of the day and stayed warm!
A couple weeks ago Kelsey sent us an email saying she was getting all her details together and that we were going to love them! She was totally right! We started the day doing details and loved their elegant invitation suite and wax seals, which totally set the stage for the rest of the day with Kelsey’s satin dress and their neutral flowers.
We had not met Kelsey and Justin prior to their wedding day, but we immediately felt welcomed by their family and friends. Kelsey’s bridesmaids were the sweetest!! Everyone needs bridesmaids like Kelsey’s! Before their first look, Justin told us a little bit about their story. These two work for the same company and after insisting that he would never date the girl he worked with, he finally gave in. They dated for a year before getting engaged and a year later they’re married! And they are just right for each other! Kelsey is full of energy and enthusiasm and Justin’s calming nature is the perfect match for her.
These two were full of smiles the whole day and you can see it in their photos! See if you can spot them grinning at each other right before they were pronounced husband and wife.
Right after their ceremony, Kelsey changed into her second dress (yes, she had two gorgeous satin dresses…and this one had bow!) and we went to the rooftop for photos! We had finished all family photos and bridal party photos beforehand so walking around with them to grab some “just married” photos was completely stress-free! Right after we finished their portraits, Kelsey and Justin had some time to relax so we played their first dance song on our phone and they practiced. Then they went inside and tested out the dance floor before their guests came in from cocktail hour! These two were side by side the whole day and we loved that they had moments with just the two of them.
After dinner, they had their first dance which involved lots of spinning and twirling which was SO CUTE. Then they went straight into party dancing! That’s how you end a first dance! 😉
Kelsey and Justin, y’all are the best! Thanks for welcoming us into your day and allowing us to capture these moments! We wish we could bring your energy and smiles to every wedding! Congratulations you two!!!
