Since we didn’t photograph Emily and Josh’s engagement session, it was extra special to meet Emily and her mom before the big day. Emily is just the sweetest person you’ll meet and we loved our time with her at her bridal session!! We enjoyed being able to explore their venue at her bridal session before we photographed their wedding a couple months later. Emily grew up living near the Corley Mill House which has to be such special spot having it as their wedding venue!

At the end of her session, Emily’s mom had one request which was unique to a mother’s perspective and a sweet detail. Emily’s mom pointed out that Emily often plays with her hair and wanted a photo that represented that. Emily had candidly done this earlier in the session and it’s such a natural pose for her as well! These photos ended up being favorites of her session!

Emily’s joy is contagious and we love the laughter that happened during her session. Also, isn’t her veil amazing?? We love how it framed her face in some of these and softened the image! Emily was a stunning bride and we’re so thankful that we had the opportunity to meet her and Josh!
