We’ve known Jacob’s family for many years. We grew up in same church but eventually our families ended up at different churches. When Grayson reached out, we recognized the name and realized that we had that connection! Us and Grayson had never met until her and Jacob’s engagement session, but we really enjoyed getting to know her and had a great time together on their wedding day!! 

Grayson shares our love for dusty blue so we immediately got excited at the pops of blue in their color scheme! She also loves hot pink and it was a fun accent color to add in the flowers! We also found so many other rose bushes and flowers in Falls Park that matched perfectly!

We also LOVED Grayson’s classic and elegant dress. We’re huge fans of satin and ballgowns and it checked both those boxes! And buttons. And spaghetti straps. 😉 She had adorable shoes from Shop Kailee P too!!

Grayson shared a first look with her dad and mom which resulted in some tears and hugs from everyone. It was a sweet, sweet moment for the three of them and we loved that this time was set aside for Grayson’s parents to spend with her before the craziness of the rest of the day. 

We had absolutely AMAZING weather the entire day!! The rain held off the whole day even though we felt a couple rain drops and the temperatures were unheard of for an August day! Everyone kept commenting on the fall-like feel and it truly was so much cooler than the previous weeks had been! It was a gorgeous day for portraits outside and for dancing on the patio. 

Grayson and Jacob got married at Jacob’s church in Greenville and their reception was held at the Venue at Falls Park. Allie with Katharine Marie Events brought all the details of the day together and it was awesome working with a planner to keep the day rolling! Allie is so kind and attentive to all the details.
