We met Riley and Clay this summer to take their engagement photos and never stopped laughing with them. Clay’s enthusiasm and Riley’s love of a good time fit perfectly together. These two are both energetic and so fun!!
The home of Riley’s grandmother is gorgeous and had a beautiful spot in her backyard for Riley and Clay to get married. It was the most gorgeous backyard wedding ever!! They had a white tent over the ceremony spot and it looked like it was meant to be there permanently!
We loved all the classic details of the day! Riley’s mom runs her own stationery company and shop so you better believe Riley had some gorgeous invitations!! They were simple and elegant which we loved. And check out her shoes!! The cutest white slip-ons with BOWS! Seriously debating copying that idea someday!
Their ceremony involved their closest friends and family. This wedding day was special for both families, as Riley is the oldest of her siblings and the first to get married, while Clay is the youngest of his family! Clay’s uncle married them in front of the cross that Riley’s dad built himself!! Riley and Clay’s family was fully involved in making these two feel loved!
These two love to have fun and did just that at their reception at the Poinsett Club!! They had time to talk to all of their friends and get some dancing in 😉 They ended the evening before sunset and drove away in Riley’s grandfather’s old car. Such a classic and timeless day with no lack of fun from these two!
