When we say Camden & Katie were the sweetest people, we MEAN IT!! Seriously, these two are both full of so much kindness and joy and it really showed throughout their day. Their wedding at Pretty Place was so gorgeous and we could not wait to share all these photos!!

Camden & Katie told us that the first time they visited Pretty Place, they knew they wanted to get married there. Their families even secured the spot before they were engaged!! The mountains were clear, the morning had shockingly cool temps (highly recommend morning mountain weddings in August 😉 ) and these two were married with a gorgeous view behind them!

Their day was unique because they got married in the morning, but decided to have their reception that evening, instead of braving the intense mid-day heat. So after they sealed the deal, everyone had an intermission before the party haha! And as the photographers, we have to say that being able to take off our shoes for a few hours, re-apply make-up, and upload half the day’s photos onto our computers was honestly really nice 🙂

That evening, Camden & Katie’s reception was held on Camden’s grandparents’ property, in his grandfather’s workshop. Camden grew up spending his days there and they knew they wanted to have their reception in this place that meant so much and held so much family history.  Their families decorated the shop and brought magic to the space!

There were so many sweet moments and emotions throughout the day, but watching Camden as Katie came down the aisle and the dances during the reception were definitely highlights! Camden & Katie shared a first look, but that didn’t take away any of the emotion as Katie walked down the aisle with her dad. That evening, the dances took place on the back patio as the sunset and the emotions between the two and their parents were just the sweetest. They all pulled off some dance moves though, especially Camden and his mom!

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Vaughan!! We are SO excited for you and hope you are having an amazing time in Charleston!!
