Wadmalaw Island Engagement Session in Rockville
Rockville Engagement Session | Eden & Chapell

New locations inspire us. Take us somewhere on the coast with huge oak trees, Spanish moss, & waterfront views and there is limitless creativity to be had. This engagement session in the town of Rockville on Wadmalaw Island was as charming as they come!

Eden & Chapell are Lowcountry locals and knew they wanted their engagement session to capture the beauty of it without being in the hustle and bustle of downtown Charleston. We spent the afternoon exploring the small town of Rockville and quickly fell in love with how quiet and peaceful it was, compared to the normal atmosphere of shooting in Charleston. These two attended a wedding we photographed this Spring and it made us SO happy when they asked us to be a part of theirs!

We started our time with these two by the Presbyterian church which is at the center of a tight-knit community and was the perfect backdrop for this small-town, Lowcountry engagement session! After soaking in the soft afternoon light at this location, we headed over to the Sea Island Yacht Club to capture some images of these two on the docks. Being on the water with the sun shining and a light afternoon breeze made it a serene atmosphere for these photos. We ended the session a few miles down the two at a location that had more gorgeous trees with Spanish moss and palm trees.

These two were naturals in front of the camera and we can’t wait for the Spring wedding day in Charleston!
