Last fall when some of the craziness of the past months had subsided, Rachel and Parker took a road trip from Louisiana where they currently live, to the East coast to see the sights and visit some new cities. Pretty Place was on their list of places to visit in the Upstate of South Carolina and they both knew as soon as they arrived that this spot was where they wanted to get married in the future.
Fast forward to August 26th, 2021 and their closest friends and family made the trek up the mountain with them to watch them make it official! Pretty Place is a gorgeous location, but you never know what weather you’ll end up with and what the view is going to look like. We’ve been blessed multiple times with a perfect backdrop! The few clouds in the sky were just the right amount of shade over the mountains, but we didn’t feel like we were in a cloud (which has happened before!!).
Rachel and Parker shared a first look and you won’t want miss Rachel’s reaction!! Rachel and Parker both make each other so happy and that is evident by the smiles that never left their faces! They have so much fun together and laughed together the whole day.
Right before Rachel walked down the aisle, it started raining. After talking to Parker afterwards, we all agreed that this moment was so peaceful. The mountains, the sound of rain, and their friend playing the guitar were all the calming elements that made their ceremony so special.
When we talked to Rachel before their wedding day, she mentioned that Coastal Crust would be catering pizza and we have been so very excited for it!! It lived up to all our pizza dreams and we’re now signing up to go to any wedding that involves pizza 😉 Their staff was so kind and personable, and served everyone some amazing food!
