We love getting to explore new cities for our couple’s engagement sessions! Olivia & Eric’s Charlotte engagement session at Marshall Park & Midtown Park was no exception and we are so glad they chose these locations. Even though we had been to one of these locations before, it had been a few years and we enjoyed finding some new pretty spots to shoot at. There is something so exciting about being in a different location and it always inspires creativity!
Their session started at Marshall Park in the heart of downtown Charlotte. We were able to capture the skyline and so many photos with pops of the bright, Spring green on all the trees, which went perfectly with their outfits (we’re currently obsessed with bright colors so Olivia’s dress made us VERY happy!!). Our second location was at Midtown Park which had a very classy feel and once again, some hints of the skyline in the distance.
These two met at a small college in New York very ironically, considering Olivia’s hometown in North Carolina and Eric’s in New Jersey. After Olivia graduated, she moved back closer to home and Eric made the move South with her! It was a joy to capture these two in a city that has become their home and is now very special to them.
Olivia and Eric weren’t afraid to have fun with each other during their session! They laughed, interacted, and made our jobs EASY! We can’t wait to have them back in front of our cameras in for their wedding in Charlotte in less than a year!
