When thinking about how we wanted to recap the year, we started thinking about these photos below… We love capturing pretty details and beautiful posed portraits, but these candid pictures that are filled with so much emotion often mean more than any other photos we take. All these sweet moments are what really remind us of how special our job is and what a honor it is to be apart of these people’s lives. So, here we are! Below are all our favorites from the year of the special moments we’ve had the opportunity to capture!

 

At Shelley & Justin’s wedding in March, Justin’s dad came up to us and asked us to take a picture of him hugging his son. Such a special picture for him to have!

Sarah & Glenn got ENGAGED on a beautiful November day, and we were thrilled to be apart of it! Sarah was totally surprised and it was the sweetest!

The joy and excitement from Justin’s mom after they were married was priceless!

Mallory & Chris’ first look was one of our favorite parts of their day! Their reactions were the absolute best!!

Right before Shelley was about to get MARRIED!! 

Chris and his mom had such a sweet bond…I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the room after their dance together.

Or for that matter, Mallory’s dance with her dad.

So many different stages in people’s lives in these pictures, and we had the privilege of capturing it! Anna and Ben’s proposal had so many special details…and then their families showed up to surprise Anna!!

We couldn’t do a favorite moments post without including this fun picture! Shelley & Justin know how to party hard!
