There’s a reason October is the most popular month of the year for weddings!! October weather always amazes us and last weekend was no exception! We love the beginning of October because the leaves are still green and vibrant but the temperature is way more manageable. Emma and Blaine, y’all picked a good date!!

We connected with Emma and Blaine last year and realized that we had crossed paths before because Blaine had been a groomsmen at Mallory and Chris’ wedding (which was somehow almost two years ago!!)! We’re so glad we were able to document their and it was super fun to see Mallory and Chris again!

The life-saving moment of their day was their first look!! A couple months ago, us and Emma decided that it would be best for them to do a first look in order to finish all the photos before it got dark outside. This change of plans worked out perfectly! Usually the worry is that the first look will take away from the aisle moment, however Blaine’s reaction was genuine emotion for each of these moments. Both of these moments were so sweet!!

Because we were able to finish all necessary photos before their ceremony, their later ceremony time was still possible and that gorgeous glowy light that you see made for some beautiful ceremony photos! We were all VERY thankful when that cloud blocked the sun for the last 10 minutes of their ceremony and gave us that glow!!

After Emma and Blaine’s first dance and Emma’s dance with her dad, Blaine and his mom had something special planned. They started out with a slow dance but turned it into a break dance after a minute which was a crowd favorite!! Another favorite part of the evening was their neon sign for everyone to take photos in front of! How classy and fun??

Blaine’s dance moves stole the show at the reception and his groomsmen joined him!! Congratulations y’all!! We hope it was the best day ever!
