Carson and Cody are high school sweethearts and have been together for 5 years!! After attending different colleges and surviving a long distance relationship during those years, they currently call Anderson, SC their home and got married at the Bleckley Inn this past weekend!
There were many happy tears the whole day, and while the emotions can be overwhelming at moments, it truly shows the deep commitment these two had for each other. Carson and Cody shared a first look and it was the sweetest! After they hugged and wiped away their tears, Carson said, “it has a bow!” and Cody responded with, “of course it has a bow!!” He know’s her well! His predictions about her classic, preppy style were definitely accurate!
While we were chatting with Carson’s dad before their first look he said, “I know a lot of people say this…but I couldn’t have picked a better person for Carson.” And we couldn’t agree more! These two balance each other out so well and there is a sense of peace between them when they’re together.
One of our favorite parts of the day was their ceremony! It was SO intentional, as they read their personal vows to each other, and took a moment to pray with their bridal party. Being able to step back from giving directions and posing and simply document the moments as they happen brings us so much joy!!
We are SO happy for y’all!!
