When you pick out 176 blog photos, you know it’s going to be good one. Kirstin and Kyle’s Beaufort wedding was one for the books!! All our low country wedding dreams came true and we’re still not over it! Kirstin and Kyle’s day would definitely be described as classic and southern, which is everything we could want in a wedding day honestly.
Our jaws may have dropped when we arrived at the AirBnB and saw Kirstin’s navy and gold details and her Bella Belle shoes laid out. Not to mention her stunning satin gown (with spaghetti straps & a bow on the back…Y’all KNOW we’re suckers for both those things)!
The day continued to get better and better with portraits under all the Spanish moss covered trees (are we crazy to think that Beaufort’s Spanish moss is way more impressive than other low country locations?!) and their outdoor ceremony! Kirstin and Kyle had never been in front of our cameras before but they’re naturals!! Their ceremony location was not the original plan, however we would definitely argue that it was a perfect plan B!
Kirstin and her dad arrived in a vintage car from Low Country Valet and we used it for portraits of the two of them after which was a highlight from the whole day! We won’t tell you how many times we audibly squealed and yelled, “THIS IS STUNNING.” Because that number is probably embarrassing…but you can’t blame us when it’s this good!!
Their reception was held at the Lucy Creek Dockhouse, which was beautiful at sunset. We didn’t have time for portraits factored into the time at their reception venue, however, right before they were going to enter, Laura saw them standing outside on the dock and ran out to snap a few photos! When you see a good photo opportunity, you take it!!
We are honored that we were able to be a part of this day. Kirstin and Kyle, y’all made our jobs easy and we loved spending the day with both of you!! We know who to ask when we need models in the future!
Now who else is having a Beaufort wedding?? Because we’re so ready to go back!!
