Anna and Joshua’s Downtown Greenville wedding at St. George Greek Orthodox Church was classic and centered around their traditional vision for their day. From Anna’s elegant getting ready photos at the Westin Poinsett, to their portraits around the church with all the beautiful arches, we were big fans!

We’re convinced that these two never stop smiling! While taking photos of Joshua earlier in the day he had the biggest smile on his face, and once he was with Anna after their ceremony, that same smile was directed towards her. We felt their joy and that’s the best feeling you could experience while documenting a wedding day! 

When we first talked to Anna and Joshua, they were debating whether or not to do a first look. This decision is always up to our couples, and they decided to wait for their ceremony to see each other. And it was SO worth it! Anna’s entrance down the aisle was grand and elegant in every way. The organ was set the scene as she walked down the aisle with her dad, her veil trailing behind and Joshua all-smiles at the front watching his bride! 

As much as we love modern trends, there is something to be said about the reverence and peace felt during ceremonies that take place in churches. And Jacqueline had the best view of Anna & Joshua that no one else could see…we kind of feel like we had a secret perspective on their ceremony and what an honor it is that we got to document it!
