This Hotel Hartness engagement session in Greenville, SC quickly secured a spot on our list of all-time favorite locations to photograph in the area and for good reason! Choosing the perfect spot for an engagement session depends on a variety of factors and Hotel Hartness truly checked every single box.

From the stunning architecture to the thoughtfully curated landscape, this top Greenville wedding venue offered an elegant and timeless backdrop that sparked so much creative inspiration for us. Having the entire property to ourselves was a huge bonus! We always gravitate toward quieter, more intimate settings where our couples can fully relax, be present with one another, and enjoy the experience without distractions.

Madison had shared a few inspiration photos ahead of time that highlighted a romantic garden aesthetic, complete with some beautiful hydrangea bushes. With that vision in mind, we suggested a Hotel Hartness engagement session centered around their stunning courtyard. What we didn’t expect (but were absolutely thrilled to see!) was that the hydrangeas were in full bloom when we arrived. It was unexpected detail that brought the vision to life even more beautifully than planned!

Although we had to pivot our schedule a bit to stay ahead of some looming afternoon storms, the cloudy skies gave us the most beautiful, soft light and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!
