In their current hometown of Greenville, SC, Olivia and Fran’s wedding took place on a warm summer day. Their venue, the Huguenot Loft, is located centrally in downtown and right along the Reedy River. This allowed guests to experience the charm of Greenville from the moment they arrived. From a design perspective, it only felt natural that their celebration would reflect the lush, mid-summer greenery surrounding them and even give a subtle nod to the city’s name itself. With a romantic, modern twist on the timeless green-and-white palette, their wedding design was monochromatic but not missing out on textures, tones, and lighting statements. Ashleigh with Ashleigh Craft Design pulled together bows, stripes, and patterns into their invitation suite and continued to create a cohesive design with elegant, modern florals, including a lush green installation cascading above the head table. A bold statement bar and contemporary overhead lighting added a modern edge, while the glow of candles, table lamps, and soft blooms gave the space with warmth and romance.
When we think back to this wedding day, the attention to design and detail were incredible, however what stands out the most is the joy that was felt by all who were a part. There was no lack of smiles, laughs, happy tears, and an energetic dance floor. Olivia & Fran are two people who love deeply and it was evident through every excited wave as guests arrived, every hug with friends, and the genuine reactions to the toasts shared by their family. Together these two brought an energy and passion for life that made us wish we could photograph their wedding again and again!
