Alex & Aubrey | Indigo Hall Wedding in Spartanburg, SC

Our last wedding of 2020 has come and gone but it was so very special!! We’ve been anticipating this day for a while and it was full of so much joy and excitement. In October, we had some absolutely gorgeous weather and were wondering if it would stick around until November…it totally did!! Y’all, 70 degrees and sunny is the DREAM weather! Their wedding at Indigo Hall was just beautiful!

Alex is Alan’s brother, and Alan is Laura’s boyfriend for y’all that don’t know. If you need to read that again, go ahead 😉 This summer, Alex planned the proposal, and Alan, Jacqueline, and I were there to capture it. We were SO excited when they asked us to photograph their wedding as well!!

Alex and Aubrey met in THIRD grade. Talk about adorable! They grew up as classmates and eventually friends, but two years after high school they began to realize that they didn’t want to part ways! Alex eventually convinced Aubrey to go on a date, and the rest is history 😉 It was fitting that they had their wedding at Indigo Hall because they both grew up in Spartanburg and it has always been apart of their lives!

Aubrey’s joy and enthusiasm brought so much fun to the day and to everyone around her! From the moment she put her dress on for the first time, to the exit at the end of the day, she was grinning from ear to ear! Also, y’all don’t miss the photos of Aubrey jumping on the bed in her dress. If that doesn’t sum up her personality into one photo I don’t know what does!! 🙂

There were so many other special moments throughout the day, but we especially loved their first look! They didn’t rush but took the moment to be with each other and to read the letters they had written. It was super sweet!

And of course, the day ended with an epic dance party!! You better believe Aubrey got Alex onto that dance floor and Aubrey danced her heart out! Congratulations, y’all!! We’re so happy for both of you!!
