A Coffee Shop Engagement Session in Greenville SC at Carmella's

Kayla & Alex’s session was the perfect blend of classic sophistication at Hotel Hartness, mixed with a transition to the coziest coffee shop vibes at Carmella’s in downtown Greenville. No one wishes for rain on their engagement session day after all the planning that has gone into it, but Kayla & Alex chose to embrace the afternoon no matter the weather and as a result they have photos that are completely unique to them. Beginning at Hotel Hartness, located just outside of downtown Greenville, we leaned into some direct flash photos inside the hotel, along with venturing outdoors with the clear umbrellas to start. Carmella’s was the second location, where lattes were ordered and everyone got to stay cozy, warm, & dry — a win on all angles! As the grand finale of this afternoon, some gorgeous colorful trees had been spotted nearby, & Kayla & Alex wanted to full embrace the weather by running out in the rain to finish the session. This session was filled with so much creativity and fun, all which comes from a little challenge and thinking outside the box!
