Bailey & Riley welcomed their guests to their Destination Wedding in Bologna, Italy with a poolside welcome party, complete with wood-fired oven pizzas, passed cannolis, and signature Aperol spritz drinks. The afternoon was a relaxed occasion that gave their guests a peek into the week of good food and festivities to come and was the perfect way to celebrate the arrival to Italy of many friends and families. After international flights for all present, the excitement was high and it was incredibly special to document the start to a week filled with so many amazing moments. We loved photographing all three days of Bailey & Riley’s wedding celebration in Italy, but we have to say that this afternoon had a lot of highlights!

Tucked behind their villa, the private pool offered not only a relaxed environment to mingle and greet guests, but also highlighted some incredible scenes of the mountains in the distance.
The highlight of the afternoon for everyone was the bride & groom’s personal pizza making. From dough to handing the pizza slices out to guests, they had a step-by-step tutorial and it was such a fun, engaging experience!
