Kelsey & Taylor’s stunning Greenville Country Club wedding on a spring day in South Carolina was everything that would come to mind if you said “wedding elegance meets southern charm!” When one of the bride’s best friends is an incredible, luxury wedding planner you know you’re in for a treat! All that Kelsey dreamed up was flawlessly brought to life by Chloe and the whole team at A Charleston Bride.
The day started at the Greenville Country Club where Kelsey and her girls were preparing for the day and once details were gathered, the most gorgeous flat lays ensued! Studio R did a phenomenal job incorporating their gorgeous crest (it was one of our favorites EVER!) into their invitation suite. And of course, Kelsey’s Loeffeler Randall heels needed their moment!
The bride and groom both shared personal notes which they read privately before their ceremony took place. It set the scene beautifully before they saw each other for the first time when Kelsey walked down the aisle!
Kelsey’s bridesmaids pulled off the latest trend flawlessly: mismatched, blue, and floral dresses that all complement each other! Kelsey’s dress was a Justin Alexander favorite that caught everyone’s eye with its elegant fit and bow bustle. Her fashion statement continued with her Loeffler Randall clutch that accompanied her throughout the day.
The post-ceremony hugs and joy were especially sweet, with lots of smiles and a few tears! Showing off the new bling post-ceremony has to be one of our favorite moments to photograph!!
Back at the Greenville Country Club, portraits of the two of them took place and we love that their guests made it into the background of a few photos!
Guests mingled on the back lawn during cocktail hour, enjoying signature cocktails, and happily accepting the comfort of shawls that were passed around for the crisp spring evening. Vibrant colors were a crowd favorite when it came to guests’ attire, and were a fun pop of color throughout the evening.
For their introduction and first dance, Kelsey and Taylor headed to the tent where their guests welcomed them in, and the checkered floor made it’s appearance with such a statement!
Inside the Greenville Country Club, details were set in place for dinner, with custom place settings and a personal menu for each guest. Statice Event Design adorned the mantel with a statement floral piece and compotes down the head table and throughout the room. The team at A Charleston Bride brought the entire space together beautifully, with a mix of patterned linens, shades of blue, and southern touches along with the most careful attention to detail.
Toasts were raised, dinner was served by plated meal, and the sun disappeared which led to the rest of the evening outside, under the tent. A good time was had by all!
The bride and groom left in a Rolls Royce from The Perfect Getaway and it truly was the most perfect getaway!!
