We started Taylor and Connor’s Greenville wedding day, just outside downtown at Taylor’s parents’ home. We arrived at her house and were IMMEDIATELY welcomed with open arms by her sweet bridesmaids and mom! It’s always a highlight for us to get to know all the people who are a part of our couple’s lives, and on wedding days, we know all the people surrounding them are extra special! We got to talk to so many of their friends and family who all made us feel right at home!
When Taylor saw Laura share some of her own wedding inspiration on Instagram a couple months ago, she responded and said, “I think we may be having the exact same wedding!!” Haha! She was not wrong! All the southern elements and hints of blue may look really similar when you see wedding photos of Laura & Alan in June! 😉 And yes, we do plan to have the same linens on the tables! Obviously, Taylor is a girl after our own hearts!! Taylor included lace from her mother’s veil and earrings from Connor as sentimental items in her details, but also rocked her fashionable Jimmy Choo heels the whole day! She also had a heart made from her late grandfather’s bluejeans that was sewn underneath her train…we always make sure to document these details, but sometimes that just looks like a single photo. However, that was not the case with this special heart! As we’ve culled through their photos yesterday and today, we have smiled every time it’s made an appearance during a gust of wind, or as Taylor was holding her train. You may have to look closely but you’ll see some of those below!
After documenting the early stages of the day in Easley, we headed to Downtown Greenville to continue the day! The guys all got ready at the the Grand Bohemian in Greenville, before meeting everyone else at the Huguenot Loft for photos. We were able to do photos right behind the Huguenot Loft to keep a distance from the crowds and after photos we got to pop into the venue for a reception reveal with Taylor and Connor! Anna Kate and her team with Parte Events & Design worked tirelessly the whole day to bring the vision to life! And not only were they working behind the scenes to pull all the details together, but they were also involved with making sure logistics were going smoothly for photos! A dream team for sure!!
After photos downtown, we headed to the Daniel Chapel at Furman to get these two married!! It was WINDY by this point in the day (which you’ll see in photos!!) but thankfully we were indoors for an hour! The last destination of the day was back to the Huguenot Loft for their reception!! We got to bask in the flower-filled reception space, listen to three witty, and heartfelt toasts by Taylor’s father, brother, and Connor’s brother, and watch these two celebrate with their guests!! Oh, and fangirl over their Stradley Davidson linens… 😉
Taylor has a contagious laugh and spunky personality that is impossible not to love…and for every ounce of enthusiasm she possesses, Connor is her calm and supportive anchor, who laughs with her and enjoys life right alongside her. Together they are such a fun pair and we were honored that we got to be the ones to document this incredibly important day!! Come visit from Chicago soon, y’all!!
