Yesterday on 2/2/22 we turned 20! For the past 2 years we’ve been doing recaps on our birthday of the past year so we’re continuing the tradition this year. If you’re wondering what we did this past year…basically we went to Charleston a thousand times and ate a lot of smoothie bowls haha! Keep reading to see the highlights!!
First up, our trip in February to Amelia Island, FL to celebrate our Grandpa’s 90th birthday! You can view the full blog post here: Amelia Island, Florida | February 2021
Looking back through all these pictures makes us SO excited for Spring in a couple months!
Easter 2021! Everyone is always super thrilled to take photos on all the holidays 🙂
We went to Hendersonville for the day to capture a proposal and of course had to stop at our favorite restaurant for lunch!
John played baseball for the first time and it was always fun getting to watch him play!
Mother’s Day and mom with all her kids!
Celebrated Mom’s birthday!
We took manyyyy trips to Crumbl this year. Crumbl cookies and a breathtaking sunset is the best combo!!
Onto some summer memories including a day trip to the beach, homemade poundcake with strawberries from the garden (a Sprinkle family summer tradition) and the annual hay bale photo shoot.
We biked the Swamp Rabbit Trail in downtown Greenville!
Our family spend the 4th in July in Virginia with all our extended family.
In July we went to Charleston with our friends and it was a highlight of the entire summer! Started out the trip with Coastal crust pizza on the beach and ended it with Off Track ice cream downtown…Definitely had our priorities straight haha!
so. many. wedding days!!
and post-shoot Chick Fil A runs!
Our first time to the Gulf coast was in July when we went to 30A! And we couldn’t even believe it was real! A few of the highlights included beach sunsets, donuts from Donut Hole, and riding bikes through the neighborhood. I blogged our entire trip here: 30A Trip
We made it a goal to go to Bald Rock for sunset this summer and ended up with the most amazing sunset!
Then we convinced these two to come down to Charleston for the day on a weekend we had a bunch of shoots! We photographed Bonnie & Mitch’s engagement session, Miranda & Nick’s anniversary session, & Liz & William’s engagement session!
Then it was back to school for our final two semesters, which also involved some workdates at Barista Alley!
In September we also re-did our branding thanks to Mary with MK Design Studio! Still so obsessed with everything she created for us!!
In October we went to Beaufort for Kirstin & Kyle’s wedding and it was a DREAM!
Laura and Alan celebrated 3 years together in October!
In November our new computers finally arrived and it an exciting day!!
We planned to go up to Hendersonville again when the leaves changed and it ended up being perfect! Definitely doing this again this year because the leaves there are so much more impressive than in Greenville!
We spent Thanksgiving in Virginia. Having all the cousins together and in one photo was quite the accomplishment!
In case you were wondering, the Tropical Smoothie obsession still lives on…
We are also still BIG fans of smoothie bowls…
In December we photographed our last wedding of 2021! This year we photographed 23 weddings and we are so thankful for every single one of our couples who allowed us to be apart of their day. You can view all our wedding day blog posts from the year HERE!
Like I said, everyone is always thrilled to take photos together on the holidays…
Y’all, it snowed!! We haven’t gotten this much snow in SC in years and we loved it for the first few days…Then we were ready for it to be 60 degrees again haha!
We took our annual trip to Beech Mt. to snowboard!
Last but not least, we got to spend a weekend in Charleston! It was COLD! But we still took more than enough photos, ate some good food, enjoyed our time exploring the city, and got to photograph a beach maternity session!
