To anyone up North, you might think we’re a little ridiculous calling this snow… I mean, to be fair, there wasn’t even a measurable about of snow on the ground. But it was the most snow South Carolina has gotten this winter!!

If you’ve lived in the South for any amount of time, you know that one week in February it can feel like the dead of winter. Next thing you know, you’re in short sleeves, it’s 75 degrees out and you’re basically convinced that Spring has come already. Two weeks before this “snow storm,” we got a some unexpected flurries, and everyone freaked out. Then the next week we were back to warm weather with thunderstorms, flooding and even a tornado that touched down not far from us. Fast forward to the next week and there was snow again! SC, what up?!

Saturday we were back to winter, and got enough snow to have it cover the trees and look pretty! And you all know that flocked trees are my FAVORITE, especially ones with real snow 😉  Us being the photographers that we are, we of course had to get out and take some photos, and thanks to the trusty tripod we even got some together! Enjoy all these favorites of our southern “snow day”!
