When we get to photograph wedding days that are stress-free and full of joy, we always leave with full hearts and gratitude that this is our job!! And Jenny and Keith affirmed our love for what we do on Saturday!
Jenny and Keith met in undergrad at USC and dated until they had to part ways after graduation for different career paths. When Jenny moved back to South Carolina for graduate school a couple of years later, she and Keith reconnected and realized their relationship was not over and they could not do life without each other! So, it was very fitting that their wedding took place on the campus of USC where they met, renewed their commitment to each other, and then got engaged!
We started the day at the McCutchen House, where Jenny was getting ready. As you scroll through these photos you’ll quickly realize this, but Jenny is the kindest, most compassionate, and most joyful person you’ll meet! She puts others’ needs above her own and was asking everyone how they were doing and if they needed anything on her wedding day. Jenny shared with us on our first phone call that she loves candids and we quickly realized that with Jenny and Keith, there will be no shortage of candids! These two are smiley, full of laughter, and have the sweetest interactions. Candid photos are the result of those three things and we could hardly pick favorites because of it!
Jenny is a big fan of southern details and a blue and white color palette which we instantly connected over! She wore pearl earrings gifted to her from Keith, her blue Badgley Mischka heels made a few appearances, and she had special linens ordered for their reception tables in a gorgeous blue and white print!
We LOVE when wedding events happen all within walking distance!! We walked over from the McCutcheon House to the Rutledge College Chapel for their ceremony! It simplifies the day so much! Keith had the biggest smile on his face as he saw his bride for the first time and their ceremony was Christ-centered and filled with beautiful worship! Afterward, we finally got to have both Jenny and Keith in front of our cameras! Keith is the perfect match for Jenny’s bubbly personality, and they are both SO trusting, and SO flexible! Jenny had told us they would do whatever we wanted and so we had a wonderful 30 minutes of fun walking around campus and enjoying time taking portraits! It hardly felt like 30 minutes with all the laughing we did!
Their day ended back at the McCutchen House, with dancing on the patio outside (God blessed us with amazing sunshine the whole day!!), an adorable dress change for Jenny, and cherry tarts to bring a little part of Jenny’s Canadian heritage to their day!
We loved every second of Saturday with you two!!
