Chelsey & Ryan are Spartanburg locals like we are and brought their celebration to a farm about an hour away with some beautiful fields surrounding the property and a beautiful oak tree for the perfect ceremony spot! Hence the name, “Hollow Oak Farm!” These two are quiet-natured but that doesn’t mean they can’t have fun! Ryan’s dance moves were everyone’s highlight of the night and Chelsey was out there with her friends the whole evening as well!

We loved Chelsey’s classy details that we got to photograph! We saw her Dolce Vita shoes at her bridal session a month ago and Laura may or may not have bought herself a similar pair already 😉 The pearls on them are just so cute and classic!! Chelsey also had a pearl necklace that her mom wore on her wedding day which was one of our favorite accessories! Not to be outdone by Ryan’s Brackish bowtie of course! The necklace *may* have taken 15 minutes to get unclasped, but Chelsey’s maid of honor eventually saved the day!

Not only do we love getting to know our couples, but also their parents! Both Chelsey and Ryan’s parents were SO sweet and such a calming presence on their wedding day! They were completing any last minute task that needed to be taken care of with grace, and kept a smile on their faces the whole day! We loved having the opportunity to document this important day for them and made sure that they were in as many photos as possible as well! There are so many other people a part of wedding days besides the bride and groom and capturing special people has become one of our favorite parts of the day!

Chelsey’s veil made for some epic portraits! We’ll probably never stop talking about how amazing simple, tulle veils are for photos! They’re easy to toss and easy to swoop in front, which are always our FAVORITE photos.
