We met Anna & Kristian back in December when Anna had scheduled a session for her family, and then these two got engaged two weeks later!! We have been so excited for their engagement session in downtown Greer and it was so special for many reasons!

Anna & Kristian have such a unique story of how they met! Anna went over to Switzerland & Germany to visit friends, but was unable to make it home and ended up staying in Germany with friends.  The church she attended was also the one Kristian was at, and the rest is history!  They are getting married in Germany this summer which is going to be epic and we are so excited for them!!

Kristian proposed under the gazebo in the park in downtown Greer and afterward, they went to the Randall house to dance. We were able to incorporate both these spots into their session which made it so unique and special! From shooting in the Randall house, to stopping at a bunch of spots in downtown that we loved, taking photos Greer City Park and then ending at a cute little coffee shop, we had a lot to fit in during their session but we made it happen!

When we saw the weather was forecasted to be sunny, our photographer hearts were SO happy! It has been none stop rain in SC the past few weeks so we were  excited for some sunshine! Even though it was sunny it was also VERY windy! Anna & Kristian trusted us though and braved the cold. Another thing about these photos is that they were taken in the middle of the day and with all the sunshine it was BRIGHT! Even though it can be more challenging than shooting at mid-afternoon than during golden hour, we have really learned to love this light, because of the vibrant colors and pop it creates! We ended up with so many gorgeous portraits and we are so excited to share them!

We freaked out when we saw this arch while we were scouting locations! It was the PERFECT spot!!

If you have seen the behind the scenes of this photo, you would definitely have laughed at us! I was determined to have some photos with blooms in them, and when I spotted these trees from across the parking lot I knew we had to make it happen!!
